Modal synthesis of acoustic wave propagation in the vocal tract using a finite-difference simulation
Gordon Ramsay
A biorthogonal modal decomposition is used to characterize time-domain finite-difference solutions of an acoustic model of the vocal tract, allowing spatio-temporal and spectral properties of the simulation to be determined at every sample point.
