The intonation of wh-questions in the Toscan variety of Lucques is the topic of this communication. The theoretical framework is the one proposed by autosegmental phonology. Wh-words do not show a constant association with Nuclear Pitch Accent. We observed that perché only is associated with H*, while the others morphemes (e.g. chi "who", che "what", dove "where") are often devoided of any PA. The interaction with syntax can explain the different melodic profiles of wh-questions we found in our data. Note: The body of this paper is written in French.
