This paper presents a new interactive speech recognition education software designed for Microsoft Windows platforms. A set of education tools have been developed with the aim at presenting, visualizing and teaching the foundation knowledge of speech recognition. The new education software consists of 6 main modules: Speech Recorder/End Point Detector, LPC/LPC-Cep, MFCC, Vector Quantization, Dynamic Time Warping and Hidden Markov Models. Utilizing these modules can enhance the understanding of designing speech processing system.
