This work aims at investigating the coordination in space and time between manual and orofacial gestures involved in the French Cued Speech (FCS) "Langage Parlé Complété", an efficient method of communication for hearing-impaired people. Cued CV syllabic sequences were analyzed. Results showed (i) five distinctive positions for vowels and (ii) manual anticipation with respect to lip movements and sound, the hand code being realized at the beginning of the CV syllable.
