Recently, ETRI had developed a Korean-Japanese speech translation system for a Korean front desk side in hotel reservation task. The system consists of three subsystems each of which is responsible for speech recognition, machine translation, and speech synthesis. This paper introduces the outline of the system development and describes the functions of the subsystems.
